My review is based on their birthday cake which is one of my favorite in that price range .
This cake is non dairy, good for vegetarians and lactose intolerant .
I order the white cake with custard, I also prefer the white frosting . The cake is a hit every time. I won't order from anywhere else.
The egg challah is favorite as well. And getting to break out my childhood Yiddish is the icing on the cake, no pun intended -

Uncovered wounds,uncovered hair and uncovered fungus that ate cashier's nail(I was about to throw up when he opened my bag to see what's in there. Man,cover your wounds and fungus with gloves when you deal with bakery!!!!)

3 or 4 times my family there buy buns or muffins and also very delicious donuts! Always have coffee, kids like Vipicca! Very delicious cakes from them my family is delighted with! I recommend!

Taste for challah is a very individual thing but for me, they have the best challah in Brooklyn. Excellent bourekas, too. Their onion kichel, a relatively new item, is incredible!

I've been here a few times and have found it to be subpar to other Brooklyn bakeries. The pastries are not nearly as soft or fresh, yet it is priced equivalently. The selection of a la carte treats are significantly less than what is typical elsewhere.
